ON Group ApS builds consumer apps and audio experiences designed around calm — products for rest, focus and sleep. We write the code, we write the stories, and we produce the sound ourselves.

We are a small company and we keep the scope small on purpose. Everything we ship sits inside one of these.
Consumer apps
Native mobile products for iOS and Android, built from one codebase and designed for the moment they are actually used — often in the dark, one hand, half asleep.
Audio production
Long-form ambient soundscapes and narrated stories, produced in house — seamless loops, gentle mastering, no harsh edges. Written, voiced and mixed to be listened to for hours rather than minutes.
Calm interface design
A design system of our own: dark muted palettes, unhurried motion, one idea per screen, nothing that startles. It is the part of our work we are most deliberate about.

One product has our full attention.
A sleep app with two ideas: layered ambient sound — rain, waves, fire, wind, mixed to taste and playing gently until morning — and slow bedtime stories read in low voices over that mix. Everything fades. Nothing startles.
Four rules we do not bend.
Nothing jarring, ever
No hard cuts, no bright flashes, no sudden sounds, no aggressive notifications. If a moment in the product could startle someone who is nearly asleep, it does not ship.
One price, no upsells
A single subscription that unlocks everything. No tiers, no premium-within-premium, no advertising, no selling of personal data. What you pay is the whole relationship.
Own the pipeline
Stories, narration, sound design and code are produced in house. It keeps the licensing clean, the quality consistent, and the cost of a new story close to zero.
Collect as little as possible
The less we hold, the less there is to lose. We ask for what a product genuinely needs to work and nothing beyond it.

Every layer a listener hears was produced here. Nothing is bought in as a finished product and re-badged.
Stories written to go nowhere
A bedtime story has the opposite job to a normal one. No tension, no cliffhanger, no reveal that makes you want the next chapter. We write long, even, low-stakes narratives that are pleasant to lose track of — and we judge a draft by where people stop listening, not whether they finish.
Narration mastered for the dark
Voices are recorded and processed to sit low and even: sibilance tamed, dynamic range compressed so a loud consonant cannot spike, and levelled against the ambient bed so the story never has to compete with the rain.
Loops with no seam
Most ambient audio is a short clip repeated, and after twenty minutes the ear finds the join. We work in long-form recordings with matched endpoints, and we verify gaplessness on real devices rather than trusting the player.
Levels measured, not eyeballed
Ducking, fades and timer ramps are specified in decibels and checked against the operating system's own audio output — not adjusted until they sound about right on one pair of headphones.
Built small, on purpose.
We are a small team, so the architecture has to be something a small team can actually maintain for years.
One codebase, two platforms
iOS and Android are built from a single Flutter codebase, so a fix lands on both at once and neither platform quietly becomes the neglected one.
Offline first
Anything you have downloaded plays with no network at all. The product is designed to work on a plane, in a hotel, and at 3am on bad reception.
Data kept in the EU
Accounts and subscription state are held on managed infrastructure in the European Union, under GDPR, and there is no third-party analytics or advertising SDK anywhere in the app.
What we do not do.
This is easier to state as a list of absences, because that is what it is.
No advertising
Not now, not as a "free tier" later. A product people fall asleep to cannot contain something that interrupts at full volume.
No tracking or analytics SDKs
There is no third-party tracker embedded in our app. We do not build advertising profiles and we have nothing to sell to data brokers.
No selling personal data
Ever, to anyone, under any commercial arrangement.
Deletion you control
An account and everything attached to it can be deleted from inside the app itself, without emailing us and waiting.
